Theatre Arlington Steps Up Its Game This Season with Bus Stop

Over the past fifteen years, Theatre Arlington has stepped up its game from its humble beginnings in 1973. With the addition of new lighting and sound, a full-time professional staff of eight, two buildings and serving more than 33,000 per season, Theatre Arlington has grown from a small group of people performing in a dance studio to the second largest and second oldest theater in Tarrant County!

Join us for the first production of the 2017-2018 season, Bus Stop!

In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and it appears the weary travelers are stuck with each other until morning. Cherie, a nightclub entertainer is the passenger with most to worry about. She's been pursued, courted and finally kidnapped by a 21-year-old cowboy with the romantic methods of an unusually headstrong bull. While she's ducking out from under his clumsy but confident embraces, the audience is introduced to the other characters and all of their quirks and conflicts.

This sentimental and charming American classic will touch your heart and your funny bone. You won’t want to miss it at Theatre Arlington!
