The Music Box Theater's newest fall production, The 80s (Mix Tape Diaries), is a musical and comedic send-up to the 80s, which is a period of extraordinary and unforgettable music.
Who doesn’t remember being stung by Sting’s “Roxanne?” Or, how can you forget Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes,” Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” or Bobby McFerrin’s plea for all of to “Don’t Worry Be Happy?”
The Music Boxers will also feature music from other 80s artists like Prince, George Michael, Blondie and Bruce Springsteen. The music will be interspersed with comedy from The Music Box Theater regulars.
