A Performance That Will Touch Your Heart, Hans and Sophie Is Not to Be Missed

The true story of two young students who sacrificed their lives leading an underground resistance against the Nazi regime has been told for decades, but now it’s being re-imagined into a production set to run in Fort Worth at Amphibian Stage Productions! Join us at Amphibian Stage Productions for the touching production of Hans & Sophie on Friday, February 7th at 8:00 PM.

A printing press, spray paint, and quick wit was all siblings Hans and Sophie Scholl needed to build an underground resistance movement in Nazi Germany. Drawing on inspiration from letters, diaries and coded correspondences in the book At The Heart of the White Rose, Hans & Sophie is an intimate two-character portrait of resistance and conviction in the darkest of times, immersing audiences in the student’s metamorphosis from loyal Hitler Youth into one of the Nazi regime’s most feared oppositions.

Hans & Sophie, along with our broadcasts of #Anne Frank: Parallel Stories is part of a worldwide commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. September 2, 2020 marks the 75th Commemoration of the End of World War II; a war that took the lives of over 405,000 U.S. military personnel. The “Mighty Mo,” which now rests on the hallowed waters of Pearl Harbor, is a reminder of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in restoring peace to the world.

Hans & Sophie will play at Amphibian Stage Productions through March 1, 2020. General admission will vary by day. For additional information and tickets, please visit www.amphibianstage.com.
