Get Into the Holiday Spirit with This Tutorial for Infusing Vodka 3 Different Ways

The holiday season is synonymous with spirits – and, no, we aren’t talking about the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. We are referring to bourbons, whiskeys, wines, and other liquors that are great for enjoying and gifting to loved ones. In fact, when it comes to handmade gifts, a great option is infused vodka. Give your friends or family members a little cheer for their cup with this set of Good Housekeeping-approved infused vodka recipes, all of which make for fabulous gifts.

Chai Vodka

• 1 750 mL. bottle vodka
• 3 cinnamon sticks
• 2 tbsp. chopped candied ginger
• 12 black peppercorns
• 10 whole cloves
• 10 cardamom pods, lightly crushed

Combine vodka, cinnamon sticks, candied ginger, black peppercorns, whole cloves, and cardamom pods. Cover and let stand at least 1 day or up to 3 days, strain, and pour into bottles. keeps for up to 2 months.

Spicy Citrus Vodka

• 1 750 mL. bottle vodka
• 5 3-in.-long strips grapefruit zest
• 2 jalapenos, sliced

Combine vodka with grapefruit zest and jalapenos. Cover and let stand 1 day. Strain and pour into bottles. Keeps for up to 2 months.

Cucumber Tarragon Vodka

• 1 750 mL. bottle vodka
• 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
• 4 large sprigs of fresh tarragon

Combine vodka, cucumber, and fresh tarragon. Cover and let stand for at least 1 day or up to 2 days. Strain and pour into bottles. Keeps for up to 2 months.
