The program encourages mind/body awareness, improved gross motor skills, aids in vocabulary recognition and fluence, builds phonetic/phonemic awareness, improves listening skills and direction following, introduces and reinforces letter and number recognition through verbalization and sign language. Each program will provide a "Sign and Sing" opening song, a "Letter of the Day", Manipulatives, learning songs, Rhyme Time, and a "Sign and Sing" closing song. And let's not forget the fun all attendees (yes, even parents and grandparents!) will have moving to the music!
